|Using flat back wood buttons, I background colored the wood with Copic markers. Nearly any kind of ink or paint will work well on
wood. I no longer have these particular buttons, but you can see what types of wood beads are currently available on the beads to
I rubber stamped the animal images using black Stazon ink. I carefully added more color with my alcohol ink markers, which will
smear the Stazon if you do not stay within the lines.
Using a white Sharpie paint marker I added the highlights. A 6mm jump ring was used to attach the button to the chain and a 7mm
jump ring to attach the glass leaf bead.
Seal with your choice of sealer such as mod podge, krylon spray or dip in resin to provide long term durability to the wood.
